I also experience the same issue. Here are 2 links for 2 users (including mine) who "lost" their icons.

Does anyone have an ETA on this issue? It's not affecting everyone, for example, 2 of the icons on my account aren't rendering while the others seem to be. However it does seem to be related to database issues most likely, elrumo did say that he was backing the icons up on a separate MongoDB database so we'll just have to wait for him to fix this issue.
The website was hacked some time ago, I think Elias (@elrumo) said they would be back but really I doubt it.

It's in the "Low priority" section now...
I think the organisation here is just not acceptable, people uploading icons via the website, others with pull requests here, the domain name belonging to Elias but hosted for free on FOSS community, still no explicit license... That's just my 2 cents on this.
IIRC i uploaded my icons after the hack and the restoration of the site, so this seems to be a new separate issue to me...
OK. The PNGs used for preview disappeared as well (actually any file with 'SnapGene' in the filename for example). It can't be the upload script since it worked before, I'm not familiar with the site but I don't think there is a regular operation on each icon so I'd bet on a git-revert.
A while ago I uploaded some icons, and they were downloadable just fine. However when I checked yesterday, the icons are still listed but cannot be downloaded and are empty in my profile. https://media.macosicons.com/parse/files/macOSicons/5661625b72a321464b594774be2dec80_Prism.icns https://media.macosicons.com/parse/files/macOSicons/30a50618e148da438125e610ceec6e9a_SnapGene.icns
