PR to integrate old lab code with wigglescout.

Removed code that overlaps
Import functions in bwstats and use them instead of old code
Removed obsolete tests of bwstats that only tested pass of parameters and not actual values

I am going to merge this even though it doesn't pass the checks, but I think it's due to GitHub actions template so I will fix that in a separate PR.
