Looks promising if we can trigger from code Edit mode . Select -> Select all by trait -> Interior faces
Doesn't always work perfectly, so a different method needs to be used
Tested Edit Mode->Faces -> Mesh -> Cleanup -> Limited disolve with option Delimit material
Reduces faces dramatically, but not a pretty sight in vrm viewer (though that could possibly be improved by adding geomtry afterwards)
Fixed by using solid model. Leaving the branch https://github.com/elsewhat/meebits-blender-utils/tree/avoid-neighboring-faces open for now
