What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.plugging in or unplugging my OSD to my pc gives me the same Failed to talk to
bootlaoder error when i try to save current tab/read from OSD/update
firmware/update Charset.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Im trying to see my on screen display features when i plug my camera into my
tv. but not only am i getting failed to talk to bootlaoder problem but when i
hook up my osd to my camera then to my tv its a blank screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
im using a mavlink osd v2.0 and an FTDI breakout board on windows xp (also
tried it on windows 8.1 but it wont read).

Please provide any additional information below.
Iv tried a number of solutions including powering both sides of my osd,
rewiring my osd so that so that everything is connected properly (GRN-GRN +5-+5
RX-TX TX-RX GRN-DTR... my setup exactly) IV tried using different CT's but
whenever i try updating, reading, or saving tab to it says Failed to talk to
bootlaoder. I do get a solid red light and a flashing blue light when plugged
in and when i try interacting with the osd such as read from osd the blue light
does a big flash then go's back to flashing normally again. what am i doing
wrong and how do i fix it.
