Load vertical setting on startup #49

On login, or gnome restart, the vertical setting wasn't loaded so it would always be horizontal. You had to change the setting to get it to go vertical.

It seems that this problem remains unsolved on Ubuntu 18.04

I'm afraid I forgot to release the fix. I'm working on other fixes at the moment, so I plan to release a new version very soon.
