Met errors when installing on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS #88

Using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, GNOME Shell 42.5, tried to install system-monitor but reports this error:

Requiring GTop, version none: Typelib file for namespace 'GTop' (any version) not found

gtop is installed by npm already

Hi,

gtop is installed by npm already

npm is not the package manager of Ubuntu, apt is. I suggest you to follow this guide: https://github.com/elvetemedve/gnome-shell-extension-system-monitor/wiki/Installation#dependencies
