  1. threading close
  2. 30s time window in the plot
  3. throw an error if no directory specified
  4. length error
  5. update plot with average of last five new points

(1.) (4.) all due to threading close (2.) (5.) maybe try to multithread them (6.) not yet (3.) solved

To solve the scanning delay:

  1. monitor scan progress based on real time
  2. train conversion constant along the way
  3. set the tuner value as a local variable
