Hopefully, not too controversial a change but I find that I use this binding a lot, especially when cleaning up my references.

I did rewrite the commit message to conform to conventional commit rules.

Also, for some reason, one of the linting tests was failing. I have no idea why, but it's certainly not the fault of this change.
