This is only a mirror and I cannot merge any pull requests. Since I know next to nothing about most of the mirrored packages I cannot in good faith decide whether a patch is good or not. Also merging such requests could result in merge conflicts once upstream makes changes. The tools I use to mirror packages are not capable of assisting me to do so and even if they were I would still have to perform the merge manually.
So please contact upstream directly. Often library headers contain contact information and/or there is a link to upstream below the package description (at https://github.com/emacsmirror/PACKAGE).
In this case try: <....>
Getting a problem fixed upstream is always preferable since then not only people who get it through this mirror can benefit. Many people might get the package directly from upstream, a distribution repository, or another mirror such as a package.el repository.
Also contacting upstream has the benefit of letting him/her know that there is interest in the package and therefor encourage furthur work.
So again, please contact upstream. While you are at it you might also want to encourage a move to github or at least a git repository. If upstream actually follows that advice please let me know.
Thanks for improving this package.
