Run windows build #14

Made a pass at fixing #6. Have gotten things to the point where commands are found (they have to be run in sh) but I'm hitting build dependency issues.

One comment while we get it working -- can you undo the rename of the appveyor.yml file? I am glad to see that this file can now be provided as a hidden dotfile, but for now it is preventing github from properly showing a diff.

Once the windows build starts passing, I'm 100% on board with the rename.
