It may seem counter intuitive because the clock is the primary function of
DashClock, but the modular nature of DashClock has made it a better alternative
to many stock widgets because the extensions are visually consistent with each
other, but they're also more dynamic because they come and go as needed. So it
would be useful to have this functionality on the home screen without needing
to have the big clock, when you're eyes are already focused on the screen and
can see the little clock in the status bar.
However, this would probably only be useful if you could configure the home and
lock screen instances of the widget separately, which is a different issue,
which I've submitted here:
