All-day event showing 1 day early; other misc. calendar problems #342

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Show appointments in the next: week
2. Show all-day events (checked)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: list events exactly as the stock calendar widget does.
See instead: I have an all-day event that is showing one day early. DashClock
says it's Saturday when it is actually Sunday.
Furthermore, an appointment I have next Tuesday is now the only thing DashClock
lists. The all-day event this Sunday isn't even incorrectly listed for Saturday
by DashClock anymore, it's not showing at all.

What version of the product are you using?
1.4.1

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
JDQ39 Nexus 4

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
No custom launcher / no custom ROM

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi there! I just published v1.4.2 on Google Play that fixes some all-day event
issues. Not sure if this is covered, but you may want to take a look. A debug
version is available here:
https://code.google.com/p/dashclock/downloads/detail?name=DashClock-1.4.2dbg.apk
if you'd like to try it asap.

1.4.2 fixes the all-day event showing-a-day-early bug.

However, unless this is expected behavior, that all-day event is the only
calendar item listed. I have subsequent appointments after the all-day event
that are also within the 'week' time frame that are not showing.

Hi Craig, yes currently only one event is shown. I believe there's a feature
request to show more calendar events, but I'm unlikely to address it any time
soon :-/

Hi, I'm updated to the latest 1.4.2 and I still get the bug where birthdays and
all day events are listed one day earlier than what they are supposed to be.

Fixed in v1.4.3, published to Google Play moments ago (and should be available
in the next few hours).
