What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

To be able to see if I miss any sms and to be alerted of said sms

What version of the product are you using?

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Samsung galaxy s 3 4.2

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.

The Galaxy S3 doesn't have an official 4.2 ROM, so whatever you may have 
installed, it's not official.
