Provided Joe comes back with a 2nd track that I would be able to blend into the game, this will become a high priority. For now, this task is complete after I've put some of this information into my brain.
Just going to go with manipulating the standard Audio Player in Godot without adding all of this complexity. Maybe for a different game some time in the future.
