I just bought the app and tried to use, but it's reporting that not support http. As I have my setup running locally and access thru VPN, I requested the reimbursement and will buy it again when it supports http. Following the app here in GitHub for updates.

Hi, I've a self-hosted FireflyIII on my LAN. Since it's a bit cumbersome to setup SSL certificates, it would be good to have an option to connect via http.

Same scenario: self-hosted and accessing via VPN.

A better behaviour would be to require https by default and have a check box to "Allow http". Then have the user confirm an unsecure connection when entering an http address.

Same here, I am self-hosting it and accessing via VPN

Same here. Self-hosted, using in LAN and via VPN. Please look into to allow http.
