Broken Url Scheme with Menu and Categories #100

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unistalled 0.9.3
2. Installed 1.0RCb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
in the header menu no longer the www.site.com/forum/ shows up, its now back
to http://www.panchira.org/index.php?action=forum same with all the other
menu options, also the boards urls are the same
(http://www.site.com/index.php?action=forum#c2)

The category it shows the category number instead of the name, so instead
of www.site.com/news/topic i get www.site.com/2/topic

still the old urls work fine... if i use www.site.com/forum/ it works and
if i put www.site.com/news/topic it also works

on the profile, it used to be www.site.com/name now its
www.site.com/profile/name (but i guess this isnt a error but the new name
scheme)

also i've tried going back to 0.9.3 and it doesnt work... it does the same
thing, so i'm stuck

What version of the mod, and what version of SMF are you using?
Pretty URLs 1.0RC with SMF 2.0 RC1.2

What other mods do you have installed?
SimplePortal 2.2.2
Aeva ~ Auto-Embed Video & Audio 6.9.99
SMF Media Gallery 1.5.6

Please provide any additional information below.

Can you check that all of the changes made to QueryString.php were made
correctly?

Hi, is this still a problem?

Are you still getting errors?

When you go to the Manage Boards page, there's a new column at the right. Do
all the
boards have primary URLs?

Original comment by curiousdannii on 16 Oct 2009 at 3:36

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
yes, there was no update on the script, so everything is the same...

yes, same errors

yes, all the boards have primary URLs (it has the correct name and a delete
link next
to it)

Can you please email me the details for a new admin account?

hummm no point in my side, i'm moving away from smf because of this and some
other
really bad design decisions on the part of the smf creators (i reported this
error
more than 3 months ago ^_^), nothing against your work, i appreciate it, and
i'll
help if i can, but i'm really moving away, so no reason to give away admin
accounts
to strangers, but if you need more details or anything else, feel free to ask
^_^
sorry and thanks.

Ok that's a shame, but I wish you well.

Btw, I still suspect there's a problem with your QueryString.php. Want to
attach it here?
