What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. all recent prettyurls versions
2. utf8+convert same
3. doesnt happend on fresh created topics/boards
4. no difference visible in the database between new & old topics/boards

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
é & è characters are absent. eg : a post called "thérapies" will be
rewrited as "thrapies"

What version of the product are you using?
0.8.4 / 0.8.3 / latest

What software does your server run?
classic linux server, same thing with fresh install with same DB.

This seems a really database related issue....database has well been utf8
converted....

oops made a mistake......

é & è characters are absent on the boards/topics urls. eg : a board/topics
called
"thérapies" will be rewrited as "thrapies" . Posts are fine.

Can you confirm with phpMyAdmin that the board and topics tables are actually
UTF-8,
and that all their text columns are too?
Please also check the global_character_set setting.

well, all the tables & global_character_set are in utf-8 mode

the strangest thing : if i modify throught phpmyadmin or throught the admin
panel
the board name, no changes. If i create a new board, it's ok.

For now, i will create new boards & move my posts.

Upgrade to the 0.9 snapshot which has an admin interface for changing board
URLs.

What about topics though, are you having problems with them still?
