Sessions broken after reinstall

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Delete SMF files and renstall them, leaving the database intact
2.Reinstall pretty urls
3.Login to SMF, then navigate to any board/ topic

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be logged in, and to see the appropriate actions available for 
my permissions while viewing any given board or thread.  What I actually 
see is 'hello guest' and the login window at the top, and no buttons for 
posting/ editing/ moderating etc

What version of the mod, and what version of SMF are you using?
SMF v1.1.9
pretty urls v1-0RCb

What other mods do you have installed?
rss feed icon and aeva (for posting multimedia content)

Please provide any additional information below.
I don't recall installing an RC of pretty urls originally, but this is now 
the only version I can find...

Apologies for posting the above - I have now fixed this by running the 
maintenance 
script that is part of the admin package for pretty urls.  All is working fine.
