It would be great if tiled windows could use the rectangular headerbar/ window decoration that they would use when maximized or in Gnome's default tiling (well ... two-column) mode. This would be particularly useful without padding (which I prefer because no pixels wasted ;)). In Ubuntu 20.04 Yaru, the headerbars of adjacent windows actually overlap at 0px padding. I have no experience with Gnome Shell but if somebody can hint me what kind of property that is, I can give it a try and file a PR. So far I haven't found it...
