This was split out from the usbprod update branch and moved to its own PR as I've had issues getting this to boot here and am unable to provide good feedback because of that.

I'll give these another test shortly and see if I can shake out why I was having issues. I'll merge one way or another once I get that tested.

I'm still unable to boot properly with my board. However I suspect it is a hardware issue. Merging anyway.
