Clean up and focus documention #3

I went amateur tech writer on your documentation and moved a lot of things around and simplified a lot of things. That README.md is the first thing people see when they browse GitHub. Keeping it as simple and concise as possible will attract more users.

Not sure how you want this... I can flatten the PR if you want it as one commit.

I left them all separate if you want to cherry-pick certain pieces.
