Swimming animation staying vertical #124

I have a huge mod pack I'm working on so this is making it rather difficult to figure out, and I'll post the mod list just for some extra info (it is a total of ~250 mods as of current). But basically, my character starts to do the swimming animation, but it doesn't go into the horizontal position as it should, it sort of just stays vertical in the water. I don't have too much time to go through each and every mod that could potentially be doing it. Optifine is included, being HD_U_G5

It's most likely another mod that tinkers with player hitboxes, rendering, and/or animations (in case that helps narrow it down). There are unfortunately quite a few of them on 1.12.

Do you know what I should look out for, or anywhere I could find indicators? I'd have to guess its one of the tweak or core mods in the pack that do it but honestly I have no clue. And could optifine or the forge version installed have any involvement in the issue?
