Provide E-Reader Friendly, Downloadable Guides #1975

The Rails Guides can be downloaded as a Kindle-friendly .mobi. This is extremely useful for people without reliable internet connections (while traveling, etc), and also generally as offline backup.

Hooking into something like pandoc would allow exporting the Ember guides in various formats. I'm willing to give it a try if people are okay with it.

We'd love it. We've talked about this for quite a while but have had other things we've had to do. Do let us know if you have questions, as we'd be happy to help think through things!

Glad to hear it!

Pretty sure it can be done in an automated way with Pandoc. I'll take some time off in a couple of days and see what I can do.

Thanks!
