use some ordination method (PCA/RDA/NMDS) to visualize the community changing through time -- is it moving in a direction or randomly jumping around?

Discussed with Morgan 4/19: recommended doing a PCA, taking the first couple axes out as timeseries, and running these through the changepoint model used in Extreme-events-LDA. This will result in distributions where it predicts changes in community composition, and then it becomes a matter of comparing these distributions to the rodent community changepoint distributions.
