I think that raw/processed, and inv.xyz, dat.xyz, *syn.xyz would be appropriate

We could use the same dataset we used as an example for SimPEG/simpleem3, see here https://github.com/emerald-geomodelling/experimental-simpeg-ext/blob/master/measured_inversion.ipynb for download and data loading code (as well as for how to invert it to get syn and inv)
