Make all emails HTML #977

I was idly wondering how easy it would be to do this as the emails are pretty ugly, but making the plaintext alternative is a bit annoying.

I think I'm happy writing these emails in Markdown and having the Markdown be the plaintext alternative, but if you substitute variables into the Markdown and then render the Markdown to HTML, you have an HTML injection issue. I don't want to keep two different templates in sync and I don't think it's plausible to render the markdown template to HTML first? I guess maybe it might be?
