From PeerJ: Changes to GBIF #108

An e-mail I received about the paper from some folks at GBIF.

A few points that you might like to correct during the review of preprint:

  • Tim Hirsch (cc) might correct me, but I think GBIF cannot be placed under “projects”, since it is not >– we are an international open data infrastructure, funded by governments, and differently from the >typical projects don’t have a closing date (I hope :).
  • Please refer to GBIF.org, not GBIF when writing about portals (page 1 and page 2).
  • In reference 6 “gBIF” needs to be corrected to GBIF.
