Hi Dr . Bjornson,

From your paper and my understanding that you've used AWGN as channel BUT in earlier paper you used Hata model .

Am I right?

Hi!

No, we are neither assuming an AWGN channel nor using the Hata model.

We consider a channel that features correlated Rayleigh fading, as described in equation (1). There is also complex Gaussian additive noise.

Equation (7) describes the pathloss model that we are using. It is the 3GPP Urban Microcell model that determines the variance of the Rayleigh fading.

There are some other papers by other authors that consider the Hata model. We are discussing one such model in (39) and the surrounding text. Remark 4 is also mentioning this.
