My Homey Pro doesn´t work with Plejd

My Homey Pro, bought in spring 2022, does not work together with Plejd. The Homey finds the Plejd devices and installs them. They usually work, but not always, for a while so I can turn off, turn on and dim lights. But after a while, less then hours, they always stop working. When I try to turn a light on or off, nothing happens. It’s only 2-4 meters between the Homey and the closest Plejds. What could be wrong?

I have the exact same problem.

Bought my first Plejd product on friday and installed it yesterday. Homey finds the dimmer after login to my account and it adds a device with a red exclamation mark.

I have also tested the test version of the Plejd Homey app without it working.

It says: "The device is not available - connecting to Plejd BLE mesh".

What is wrong?

Sorry to hear that! Could you both send me an error report from Homey, goto: More -> Apps -> Plejd -> Gear wheel -> Create diagnostic report -> Enter a message to activate send button.

What Plejd devices do you have? If you go to https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/system and login with your Homey login what does it say under homeyModelId? Should be something similar to: homey2s.

It's about 5 meters from the Homey. It is connecting, then disconnecting. Maybe it doesn't handle the distance and being alone on the BLE mesh network.

Does it exist any reapear to strengthenn the signal?

For me the distance can’t be the problem. I have exactly the same problem (connecting, then disconnecting) even for the dimmers that are 2-3 meters from the Homey, without any wall or anything else in between. Sincerely Jan Eriksson

I’ve been in contact with Athom/Homey telling them that it´s a known problem with Homey model homey4d on there side. They answered “If this is issue is known by the developer, he can create a developer-support ticket and talk directly with our developers about this issue. They can also let him know if this issue can and will be fixed.” What do you say? / Jan E
