I keep trying to buy a membership at developer.apple.com but it keeps getting cancelled within 24 hours. I have a support ticket in with them to see if this can get resolved.

Seems my account is still "Pending" so apparently need to wait for that to change.

Just heard back from Apple, seems I need to complete the process on the Developer App

As a "maybe" helpful thought with this, the nightly builds for DB Browser for SQLite do the signing thing on each run.

The command line script we wrote is here, and the signing commands + .dmg creation commands inside it are here:

Still waiting on Apple to see if they finally take my money and give me the ability to code sign.

So it looks like the Mac version will never be signed sigh
