ATTENDANCE: Ian, Emily, Mark (Jackson sick)

1. Team updates:

   • Emily and Ian worked on build and package stuff, cmake, vcpkg, cross-platform issues
   • Audio parsing, note detection, key detection parts of PoC demonstration are complete as of now
   • Jackson has a working solution for MusicXML to sheet music generation using a JS library, working on rhythm detection for this weekend
   • Main focus now is solidifying exactly what we are demonstrating and how

2. New business:

   • Emily able to provide audio input with her guitar using Audacity through audio jack input, still considering buying an audio interface since audio quality was poor
   • Audacity, open source
   • Meeting on Monday at regular time, right before demo @ 2:45pm

3. Action items:

   • Ian clean up PR and make a new one for note detection o Fix output for note detection
   • Emily starting CLI for demo, continuing with key detection research
   • Mark updating repo README, compiling, work on rhythm detection in conjunction with Jackson
   • Jackson refining sheet music generation, working on rhythm detection in conjunction with Mark

Other notes:

• PoC details o CLI take in a file with command line arguments --> Using one of our sample files, ideally one of the ones with the piano scales (good since we only need one line of music anyways). o Display output as simple array with notes played (also display length of note) o Display key signature o Just simple text outputs o Were essentially all good for PoC with showing the notes played in the input file, and showing progress in other areas demonstrating knowledge that core project idea will work with more development.
