[BUG] keyboard locks up when teleported whilst using search engine #1390

This has happened several times while playing Among Us. When i was searching avatars or worlds and the game starts or ends resulting in me teleporting, i get disjointed from my menu, which normally isnt a problem but if i am using the search engine, my entire keyboard stops being responsive in game.

This is probably because you're still technically in the menu. You can press ESC to close out of the menu.

To clarify, Your menu does not teleport with you when you are teleported.

I know, as i have had this happen numerous times. if the menu is simply open when i teleport, i can just open it again or walk around and everything is fine.

the distinction is when I am actually TYPING in the search bar and get teleported, my controls stop working altogether save for my mouse

how are you even teleporting while you're typing. that technically isn't even possible since the player (you) are immobilized while a "full screen" ui menu is open

certain worlds have teleports that move the player. the among us game world is one that moves all players

Try doing it to a non mod related keyboard. If it still happens, then it'll be a VRChat bug. Try other mod's keyboard (like UIExpamsionKit's popup) if it only seems to happen with emmVRC's popup, message back here. If it's an emmVRC issue, we'll look into it.
