Congratulations on getting pegas 1.0 released :tada:
I just got a question on my list serve about a failing installation of pegas (due to the user not having a compiler) and I thought you might be interested in registering your package with https://r-universe.dev/, which is an rOpenSci project to provide an alternative server for CRAN packages that builds binary versions of registered packages on GitHub (https://ropensci.org/r-universe/).
I registered https://grunwaldlab.r-universe.dev/ and I think it's a nice way to give users access to new features in your package before its sent to CRAN without them needing a compiler.
