I believe I may have uncovered an issue. I have 2 out of 2 ebikes work flawlessly after updating to this version (Update 3) but only for 40 (ish) km when assistance ceases. In addition to using the later version I also began using hybrid mode (previously used torque mode).
The first ebike I assumed I was just unlucky and changed out the controller. When I had the second ebike do the same thing I was suspicious. I tried a number of things, power off, batteries disconnected etc, without success. I then re-flashed the firmware and the bike again runs flawlessly. I have strong suspicions that the first ebike had nothing physically wrong either. I time and date my config files when I update firmware and both those bikes have run flawlessly for 2 years. Both only worked for 40km after the firmware update. I can only confirm the second one worked again after re-flashing. Unusual characteristics for a software issue but I am strongly suspicious that it is software related.
