Atom Autocomplete Issues with Emmet #548

When I initially installed Emmet back in October, my html autocomplete (with tab key) continued to work. It has since stopped working. I uninstalled a number of Atom packages to see which one might be causing the problem and it turned out to be Emmet. I've looked up several other solutions on StackOverflow and other sources and have attempted those fixes to no avail.

I just installed Emmet simplified and that seems to allow my autocomplete to continue working.

Any ideas on what might be the problem?
