Google Tag Manager offers the capability for non-developers to create their own customized event tracking based on HTML/CSS selectors. This ultimately could mean less application code and more management of events directly by product managers using Google Tag Manager and Analytics.

To confirm: using GA and GTM may require that the old gtag script is replaced by the GTM snippet. Research any changes related to GA4.

This appears to require a re-coding of the application, so I am not recommending we move forward at this time.
