Is your feature request related to new functionality not yet included in the product? Please describe. No -- it's about expanding existing functionality to more records.

Is your feature request related to a problem or a change to existing functionality? Please describe. Because many (~75%, anecdotally) e-resource records do not include their URL in the XML, external integrations that rely on the XML are unable to directly access e-resources. (Especially e-books & streaming films or music.)

Describe the solution you'd like We'd like to investigate why many e-book/streaming records do not have a URL listed in their XML, including some that do have individual 856 fields (rather than coming from Community Zone records, for example). Ideally, all e-book/streaming records would include the URL in their XML, but even an incremental increase would be helpful.

Describe alternatives you've considered For one specific use of the XML (the Blacklight Addon for Course Reserves Practitioners), Atlas Systems has written a modification to the addon that allows practitioners to open the front-end Library Search record from the app when the URL is missing from the XML, allowing practitioners to copy & paste the URL manually. Unsure how others are using the XML and what solutions they've implemented, but manually searching the front end of the catalog separately from the XML would be a workaround that could work in many cases.

How will this impact users? Unsure who (and what applications) currently rely on the XML or may in the future. At the very least, this impacts users of the Blacklight addon for Ares (Course Reserves).

Additional context Examples of XML records lacking URLs: https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/9937336457202486.xml (streaming film) https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/9936514895302486.xml (e-book) https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/990016280730302486.xml (e-book) https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/9937333186802486.xml (streaming film)

Examples of XML records that successfully contain URLs: https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/9937338871002486.xml (e-book) https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/9937338500102486.xml (e-book) https://search.libraries.emory.edu/catalog/990034991000302486.xml (e-book) [unable to find any examples of streaming films that include the URL]
