I've come into this situation when I've been searching for foreign films, I'm not sure if it applies to other resources.
For example, if I search for the film, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, in Library Search. Library Search will still recognize what I'm looking for, to some extent, based on other values in the record. But the title of the item is displayed in French, without any kind of translation.
I personally recognize the movie director and can figure it out, but I assume that other users, who don't recognize these details, might completely overlook the entry, and assume we don't have the movie in our collection.
I think it would be really helpful if these search results could include the English translation of the title in the entry. Here's an example from GSU libraries.
