New structure of the Intro Tutorial

Organisation

• Goal: 2 days, 5 hour/day, 2 morning + 3 afternoon, 10 hours total
• Morning = theory, afternoon = practice
• In person, group of max 20 people
• Lib4RI: The tutorial will be part of a new training series
• When? Leaning towards Fall 2024 🍂

Morning: theory

• About 30 minutes for each topic
• Extra 30 minutes at the end for Q&A

Afternoon: practice

• 1 hour for each topic
• For each topic:
  • Pick one exercise to solve it "live"
  • Choose 2-3 exercises people should try to solve
  • Discussion about one or two solutions
• Move remaining exercises to "Additional material"

Preparation

This is the minimal prerequisite: participants must have read at least this notebook. We could plan to record a video tutorial of this notebook or an interactive session on Zoom.
