Option "onremove" doesn't obtain option list updated

In my function, when I get the options list includes the option is removed. And workarround "hide.item()" isn't working correctly in version 2.8.9.3.

I am facing the same problem and not sure how to fix this? I tried item.hide() as well but no it doesn't show updated values
