@ASprinkle These are up on staging as well.
A question - for Shoshone, there was a mention in their rules of a map ... and they provided a map. Did we decided not to include it? @bryanmcfadden were the Shoshone folks looking for the map when they reviewed? Their content would read better with a map. (I also believe their map had a list of vendor locations.)
On a side note ... @sadlerw .... if a forest has no maps (and/or no relevant information that is at least map-sounding) ... is it possible to eliminate and/or 'leave out' this section altogether? It looks odd to have a section that basically says nothing?
You are talking about the "Where to cut your tree" section? Can you create another story for refactoring that if it is needed please? It is possible but not desirable from a coding perspective to hide an entire section for one particular forest since it introduces some complicated logic in an area that doesn't have any in the codebase. Also, I think there should always be a link back to the main FS site in this section at a minimum since each FS site has a distinct maps page available, and that's what we have there now. But maybe there is a way to get rid of the Cutting Areas section for all forests from the menu and just include it somehow for ARP since it is the exception not the rule? I think you'd want to keep the paragraph that is there now though with the link to the motor vehicle use maps etc. even if it isn't in its own section.
No maps for the Shoshone NF - I emailed @JaneZC and @bryanmcfadden a conversation around this topic that I had with Randy et. al. from the Shoshone.
-I recommend to keep the layout, "Where to cut your tree" section - insert some text that explains "Christmas trees can be harvest almost anywhere on the Shoshone NF subject to the rules under your permit" or something to that point - then add a little ditty about obtaining maps from the NF offices.
@ASprinkle @sadlerw No problem with keeping it! I can come up with something.
