Hello I always get the message "Connection Timeout", but the connection works and i get values from the opc server for a while. I also have to replace the password after a restart.

Some times it depends OPC server type.

Did you try to connect over Matrikon Explorer?

Sorry, i have only the opc explorer from matricon, not the opc server. Did you put the user into the opc or dcom usergroups in Windows?

NeethuES-intel commented 2 years ago

@uc-david I followed setting up DCOM as per instructions here - https://www.matrikonopc.com/support/docs/MatrikonOPC-Windows-XP-DCOM-Configuration.pdf I am running this on windows 10, don't know what else to try.
