10 years ago Case 1 - already available in Order Tags. Minimum and maximum selected fields. To automatically show Order Tags, tick Auto Select in the item properties in the Menu Category.
Case 2 - Again, this is available in Order Tags.

10 years ago Ah... perfect! I just got thrown off by the terminology. Just downloaded the application yesterday so I guess I should have probably spent some more time seeing what everything I don't recognize actually does before I start posting issues :)

I need to add Item Modifier functionality.
Case 1 - Single selection: When you select a steak do you want it cooked rare, medium, well done? Or if you get a salad what kind of dressing do you want? In this case you can select a maximum of one modifier.
Case 2 - Multiple selection: If you get a hamburger do you want cheese, bacon, mustard, mayo, etc.?
I am going to add this functionality to the application, but whether or not I submit it for everyone else to use will depend on whether I can get some guidance on how to best plan this feature and implement it in a way that's consistent with the application's design and follows the proper workflow for integrating new features.
If someone would like to do that please let me know (can contact me at brandonvmoore@gmail.com), otherwise I will just develop it for myself.
