spatial orientation of a polygon isn't correct shown

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
The polygon should have a decline to the north and not to the east.

What application versions (if any) are you using?
Google Earth 6.0.1.2032 (beta)
But it was in the older version (5.2.1.1588) too.

Which operating systems (and/or relevant web browsers) are affected?
Windows Vista Ultimate 6.0.6002.2 / Firefox 3.6.13
