This builds and passes the tests locally for me on Ubuntu 24.04 but fails in CI when testing with

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pytest'

@ianthomas23 there is atm a problem that we mix packages build for different python versions. This is why we see errors in the testing. We need to fix this on the package server, I hope we get this done the next days
