I'm the developer/owner of Cligs. Thanks for adding support for the service so 
quickly after it was asked for. A couple of things:

1. I want to offer my help with using the API. Just email me at my first name 
@cli.gs. 

2. Do you have a button or logo I can use to link to Witty from the Cligs Tools 
page?

We need to add in config options to allow saving url shortening service 
authentication. This would be useful for other services like bit.ly, too, but 
will 
take more work since we need the passwords to be encrypted, etc.

Too bad I'm a bit overbooked at the momment or I would help.

My view is that each provider needs some basic UI and storage properties.

As to encryption, DPAPI could be used:
