"There are a few Twitter search engines and many other general search
engines available.

Are there any plans to provide a search box feature similar to what's
in firefox? I've developed an opensearch plugin(basically an xml file)
for Tweet Scan that can be installed to Firefox or IE but maybe people
would like to be able to add google or other search engines to Witty
and have this fire off their default browser. That way if people see
something they want to search for, they needn't start up their web
browser to get more info.

Thanks,

Dave Sterry

Not exactly this feature. but with R179, users can search the existing tweets by
filtering.

maybe extend search functionality to add an option that links to TweetScan for
more
results.

Not exactly sure that I like it as a button and hidden panel in current
implementation. WIll play around with layout and placement.

Seems to be a bug in the current search impl with beta2. I'll type a few chars
and
it'll clear the text box and start over.

yeah, it's hard to track.

I also need to add the Tweetscan integration.

checked in first take on tweetscan integration.

The UI is not right for it yet.
