Civilization II Crash and Save Problems #36

I can't save the Game, it always says 'Failed to save'. Also after 5 or 6 Turns the Game either freezes or crashes the whole Wii. See the following photo for crash details:

Using Civ II Europe chd File.

@Maxxxel Can you try with a .bin/.cue version of the game? I wonder if will still crash (even though the save bug may still be here).

Do you get the save problem with the latest nightly build of the libretro pcsx_rearmed core for RetroArch PC (or Mac, RPi etc.)?

Just used a bin/cue and after first turn I instantly returned back to HBC.

I try a different BIOS

Hmm I can only select HLE in Settings... When I want to select SD it says BIOS not found on SD, but I have a folder called bios next to the iso folder. The games are found but non of my bios files...

What's the filename(s) of your bios file(s)?

SCPH1002.bin, SCPH5502.bin and SCPH7002.bin

You can use any BIOS, but you have to rename it to SCPH1001.BIN.

Sorry, I'm Business traveling this week. I'm back home Sunday or Tuesday again. I'll report back.

I tried with a BIOS file. Saving the game works now but is suuuuuper slow. I could also play the game longer but the it crashed back to HBC again.

So still unplayable.
