[Issue]: cheats cause Spyro Hero’s Tail (NTSC-U) to freeze #831

Describe the bug

This game will freeze at the licensed by Nintendo text when any cheat code is enabled. I have tried various cheats from Widescreen to unlock all abilities and they all do this.

i can use the Widescreen hack with this game and it boots fine so Swiss patching the game works, just not for patching in cheats specifically.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable any cheats on this game
  2. Launch the game
  3. Watch it hang at the licensed by Nintendo logo.

Expected behavior

  1. Enable any cheats on this game
  2. Launch the game
  3. Watch the game load up
  4. Actually play the game (enjoyment optional)

Same for PAL version but not sure this is a swiss bug, maybe bad cheat codes crashing the game?

I finally wrote a (m) code for the action replay for this game. There are some codes that can be converted to action replay that work while others don't. They may be bad cheat codes.
