I was unable to build the docker project with the git code as provided.
Needed libtool and ysam as required by some dependencies.
Build would error complaining that Cython was not found, so added that through pip3
Installing R, needed dirmngr. Then was having timeout errors with the apt-key command. Found a solution on https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/361642/keyserver-receive-failed-on-every-keyserver-available to add they hkp:// protocol and the port to the keyserver address. This was successful.
With these changes I was able to successfully build the docker image. I don't have any samples to run yet so I don't know if the execution would be affected at all.

I also updated the cran target link as found here: https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/ I haven't checked if 3.5 was required.
